WHERE ARE SESSIONS HELD?

Sessions take place at my private studio in Cape Town. Full location details will be provided once your booking is confirmed.

HOW DO I SECURE MY BOOKING?

A 50% booking fee is required to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before your session, and sessions cannot proceed until payment has been received in full.

The booking fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, subject to applicable consumer law.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK A MATERNITY SESSION?

Maternity sessions are generally photographed between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined while you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the session. I recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date.

I’M NOT COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. WILL YOU HELP ME POSE?

Absolutely. You don’t need to know how to pose or feel confident in front of the camera. That’s my job. I’ll guide you throughout your session, from posing and movement to the smallest details.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We’ll discuss styling during the planning process. I’ll guide you through your choices based on the direction we’re creating together and the looks you’d like to achieve.

DO YOU PROVIDE HAIR AND MAKEUP?

Professional hair and makeup are included in the Signature Experience. For all other sessions, hair and makeup can be arranged separately.

CAN MY PARTNER OR CHILDREN BE INCLUDED?

Yes. Your partner and children can be included in your maternity or motherhood session. We’ll discuss this during the planning process so they can be thoughtfully incorporated into the shoot.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE?

If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. Your booking may be moved to another available date, subject to my rescheduling policy and availability.

WHAT IF I’M UNWELL ON THE DAY OF MY SESSION?

If you’re unwell, please contact me as soon as possible. Where possible, we’ll arrange a new date based on availability. I want you to feel comfortable and at your best during your session.

WHAT IF MY BABY ARRIVES BEFORE MY MATERNITY SESSION?

Babies sometimes have their own plans. If your baby arrives before your scheduled maternity session, your booking can be transferred to a motherhood session with your baby, subject to availability. Your deposit and any payments already made will be transferred to your new session date.

WHAT IF I EXPERIENCE A PREGNANCY LOSS?

If you experience a pregnancy loss before your session, please contact me when you feel ready. You may choose to cancel your session and receive a full refund of payments made, or transfer your booking to a future session if and when you feel ready. This will always be handled privately and with care.

HOW DO I CHOOSE MY FINAL IMAGES?

After your session, you’ll receive a private selection gallery where you can choose the number of photographs included in your chosen collection. If you’d rather take the pressure off choosing, you can leave the final selection to me and I’ll use my creative eye and expertise to curate the strongest images from your session.

CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL IMAGES?

Yes. Additional fully retouched images can be purchased for R350 per image.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FINAL IMAGES?

Your fully retouched final images will be delivered within 2–3 weeks of your selection.

DO YOU PROVIDE RAW OR UNRETOUCHED IMAGES?

No. RAW or unretouched images are not provided. Only finished, fully retouched photographs that reflect my final work are delivered.

HOW WILL MY FINAL IMAGES BE DELIVERED?

Your final high-resolution photographs will be delivered through a private online gallery where you can view and download your images.
